After the problems with the last episode I have recorded the first part of Episode 005 and it sounds great (well to me anyway). Got the new equipment up and running and even recorded the first episode of "The Geeks Explain It All" with my buddy Stratosphear. That one will be available on iTunes and RSS feed at some point over the next week or so, keep a look out for that!
About the new equipment:
I have a Technical Pro PM-21 podcasting kit that came with mixer, microphone, stand and headphones... $50 well spent. I added another mike stand and a pair of microphones: A Nady SP-4C and an Audio Technica ATR1100. The mike cord that came with the podcast kit gives off a buzzing so eventually that will have to be replaced but the others are performing well for now.
